In 2021 Miguel Escalante officially founded Mezcalante Films, after 7 years of collaborating in various companies and freelance projects throughout the country.

Originally from Mexico City, specialist in audiovisual production; being a cinematographer, director, editor and drone operator.

Some of his collaborations have been:

-Amalgama, film directed by Carlos Cuarón in Sian Ka'an with Kanan Films.

-Awesome Bay, commercial directed by Janusz Kaminski in Bacalar with Digital Cinema.

-Music Getaways Festivals 2018-2022 in Riviera Maya, Punta Cana and Los Cabos with Media Store Films.
